Become a sponsor

To reward racers with more than just a medal, we are asking companies or motivated individuals to sponsor the prize budget. We offer two sponsor packages, costing 150 euro (regular) or 300 euro (gold). All sponsor money directly benefits the racers. If you want to sponsor with non-monetary prizes, contact us (cyclevision@gmail.com) to discuss.

As a sponsor, you receive the following benefits:
  • You get a banner on Ligfiets.net, the site that hosts the HPV-WC homepage. We create this banner for you, with your logo and the text (your name), (gold) sponsor of (race or class at) the HPV World Championships 2020. The banner is created soon after you sign up, and expires after the event.
  • You are listed on our sponsor page. If you choose to sponsor a specific race or bike-category, your name becomes associated with it in the race and visitor program.
  • The logo + company name are printed on the program leaflet that we distribute to visitors of the event.
  • The logo + company name are printed on the T-shirts that registered racers receive.

Sponsoring an individual race

If you sponsor an individual race, your company name will be associated with that race, with the addition "gold sponsor" if applicable. The money that you sponsor will be lumped in the individual race budget. We have developed a scheme to distribute the money to winners of the individual races.

Sponsoring a vehicle category in the overall ranking

If you sponsor the overall ranking, you can choose to associate your company name with a particular vehicle class, with the addition "gold sponsor" if applicable. The money that you sponsor will be lumped in the overall ranking budget. This budget will first be used to buy individually printed cycling-shirts for all 1st prize winners. The remaining budget will be used as prize money.

Company presence at the event

The World Championships are organized as part of the long standing event 'Cycle Vision'. In the past, company exhibits were part of the event but with the decline of open recumbent bike sales in the past decades we had to give up on the exhibits. Companies that survived are often present at the event by participating or volunteering. For this edition we again do not organize exhibits, but we are open to self-organized exhibits. As a sponsor, you can:
  • Contact us to find a strategic spot on the race venue (outside) that doesn't block any passageway.
  • Put up a small sun/rain shelter, and display your product or service.
  • Our event permit does not allow commercial sales at the event, keep this in mind.
Check the race and visitor program to find the best times to do this, Sunday is probably your best bet.
