Czech Republic, Uherský Brod, 22.4.2009 – This year the
Spezi (Spezialradmesse, Duitsland) will be very important for Azub Bike. We will
introduce there a new basic model of recumbent called
Azub Eco.

We have been working on this bike for more than two years.
The main idea was to offer a basic recumbent with focus on
quality, comfort, usability and last but not least affordable
price. And we think that we have won.


The Azub Eco is
recumbent with aluminium frame, good quality components,
very comfortable tyres Schwalbe Big Apple, adjustable seat
size and adjustable comfy seat pad called Azub Ips.

The bike is designed with
Azub Ips – Ideal Position system which allow to change the
seat position, boom lenght and also the position of bars.

Many accessories are available for Eco among which the most
important is the Eco bag which was designed specially for this
model to fit under the seat. The Eco bag has enough large
space in which you can carry your jacket, some food and also
necessary tools. There are also water bottle holder and map
case outside.

E-hub is pretty new rear hub from Slovenian company called
Ekstundo. Azub will be the first who will introduce this hub to
the recumbent world. It was developed to overcome the
pedals´backlash which enables the cyclist to improve their
performance and conserve energy. The claim on increased power output
is 7 to 10%. It also lowers the knee strain. It will be
possible to see the E-hub on the Azub stand and you will have a
chance to test it outside too.
