Velomobile Promotion

Promoting the benefits of velomobiles is vital in encouraging more people to actively participate in riding a velomobile and enjoy the multiple benefits of it. Promotion has to happen at a range of levels, the individual, the business sector, the community and the government.

For the Promotion theme we look for presentations that show what is specific to the promotion and marketing of velomobiles? How can we increase the number of velomobile users? And why would we want that?
Which marketing tools from general cycling promotion work with the promotion of velomobiles and which don’t or won’t work?

Although the number of velomobile users is probably the highest in the Netherlands, we especially welcome presentations from other countries. An international perspective will help all involved to broaden their vision and paradigms.
